        Harvesting Water, an artwork created and curated by local artist Stacy Berlfein, is a project merging art and activism. The public is invited to buy works and create their own to sell, with proceeds going to the building of a water-harvesting structure in an Indian village.  The work is produced in collaboration with the nongovernmental organization Seva Mandir, providing social justice through sustainability. Harvesting Water involves art viewers, art collectors and art makers as integral to the project’s response to landscape as it affects present-day human capacities.
